DAY 1
Arrival in the city of Zacatecas and transfer to the hotel and depending on your arrival time, visit the Cerro de la Bufa, important symbol of the city where one of the last battles of the Mexican Revolution took place, the famous “Toma de Zacatecas”, we will visit the Chapel of the Virgen del Patrocinio, patron saint of the city and from where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Afterwards, we will take the cable car to the 16th century mine “El Edén”.
DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel we will go to the Magic Town of Guadalupe, where we will visit the Sanctuary, the Chapel of Naples, one of the most important architectural jewels of the north of Mexico and the Viceroyalty Pinacoteva, one of the most important in Latin America. Afterwards we will go to the Ex Hacienda de Bernárdez of the XVIII century where today is located the silver center of Zacatecas.
DAY 3
After breakfast we will go to the archaeological site of La Quemada, 48 km south of the city of Zacatecas, where we will visit one of the most enigmatic archaeological sites in the north of Mexico. Afterwards we will go to the Magical Town of Jerez where we will visit the House Museum of the Poet Ramón López Velarde, the Parish of the Immaculate, Tacuba Square, the Sanctuary of Soledad, Rafael Páez Garden and the Portales.
DAY 4
After breakfast, we will go to the city of Fresnillo, the most populated municipality of the State where we will make a panoramic tour of the Agora Gonzalez Echeverria, first school of Mining and the center of the city where we will go to the town of Plateros, cradle of the Sanctuary of the “Niño de Atocha” one of the most important infant figures of the north of Mexico.
DAY 5
After breakfast, we will take a panoramic tour through the different points of the historic center of the city of Zacatecas, Cultural Heritage of Humanity and then you will have free time to visit some of our important museums. You can add any other tour, ask for the different options.
