DAY 1
Arrival before 10:00 am. Arrival at Ciudad del Carmen airport, visit Laguna de Términos. This reserve is catalogued as the largest coastal lagoon in Mexico and constitutes a sample of what is this important tropical ecosystem, called wetland. The impressive Laguna de Términos will impress you due to its enormous and varied natural wealth, highlighting its birds and the natural dolphin sanctuary. Transfer to Hotel Tucan Siho Playa. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2
Very early departure to the archaeological site of Chicanná which in Yucatec Mayan means “in the house of the snake’s mouth”, this site has the largest number of “Bec River” type buildings in a good state of preservation. We will also visit Becán and Xpujil. Transfer to the hotel. Lodging. Pick up at 7:00 am
DAY 3
Departure from Chicanná to visit the impressive archaeological site and biosphere reserve of Calakmul. Unique mixed heritage of Mexico. Calakmul and Balamkú offer you the visit to beautiful Mayan cities surrounded by exuberant vegetation in the south of Campeche. An immersion to the jungle of kings. The most important political center of the Classic Maya and Balamkú with its beautiful display of monuments with stucco decoration still in perfect state of preservation. Continuation to Campeche. Lodging. Pick up at 7:00 am
DAY 4
In the morning we will visit the archaeological site of Edzná and finish visiting the monuments and colonial and historical places of this city. Time for lunch. Lodging. Pick up at 9:00 am
DAY 5
Departure to Uxmal. Visit the archaeological site of Uxmal, a site full of great architectural beauty and declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1996, its name comes from “Oxmal” which means “the thrice built”. Here we will visit: the Pyramid of the Soothsayer, the Nun’s Quadrangle, the Governor’s Palace, the Ball Game. Transfer to Merida Airport or Bus Terminal. Departure after 6:00 p.m
