DAY 1
Arrival in Washington, D.C. Arrival at the hotel at the passenger’s expense. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Lodging.
DAY 2
American breakfast. Departure for the four-hour tour that will take us to Arlington Cemetery, where the tombs of the Kennedy brothers are located; the memorials of Presidents Lincoln and Jefferson; the White House (outside); Pennsylvania Avenue and the Capitol. Free afternoon to visit the museums of the Smithsonian Institute. Overnight.
DAY 3
Washington / Niagara Falls American breakfast. Early in the morning departure to Canada. During the trip we will cross the Appalachian Mountains. The route crosses the states of Pennsylvania and New York and we will arrive in Niagara at sunset. Overnight in Niagara.
DAY 4
Niagara Falls / Toronto American breakfast. The first activity of this day is the cruise on the boat “Maid of the Mist”, which takes us to the falls. Then we visit: “Table Rock”, the area of the floral clock, the Spanish aerial carriage, etc… We will take a tour of the residential and wine area of Niagara, until we arrive at “Niagara on the Lake”, a beautiful town that was the first capital of Canada. Arrival in Toronto by the route that accompanies Lake Ontario. In the afternoon tour of Toronto. Overnight.
DAY 5
Toronto / Thousand Islands / Ottawa American breakfast. During our trip to the federal capital of Canada, we will take a cruise through the archipelago of the “Thousand Islands”, where the Saint Lawrence River is born. Continuation to Ottawa. Overnight in Ottawa.
DAY 6
Ottawa / Quebec City American breakfast. This morning we will observe the changing of the guard at the Parliament (July and August) and then depart for Quebec where we will arrive mid-afternoon. Overnight.
DAY 7
Quebec / Montreal American breakfast. In the morning we will visit the historical city of Quebec, the oldest of this nation. Panoramic visit: the University of Laval, historical monuments, the Citadel and other points of interest. After lunch (not included) we will depart to the city of Montreal. Overnight.
DAY 8
Montreal American breakfast. Get to know the best that the city of Montreal has to offer on this sightseeing tour with a professional guide. Enjoy a journey through time from the French and English colonization to the present day. We begin our panoramic tour through the English quarter of Westmount, St. Joseph’s Oratory, Mount Royal Park with its spectacular view of the city, we will walk through the park to the viewpoint of the Chalet de la Montana, weather permitting, if not, we will visit the belvedere viewpoint. We continue to the golden square mile, Mc Gill University, financial district, Canada square, the catholic cathedral Mary Queen of the World. Then on to Old Montreal passing by Queen Victoria Square and skirting the perimeter of Old Montreal and the Old Port. We will walk to the Place d’Armes to visit the Notre Dame Basilica (interior visit and admission included), and up to the City Hall building where Jacques Cartier Square is located, the tourist heart of Old Montreal. DAY 9
Montreal / Boston American breakfast. Today we start our return to the United States. Our destination, Boston, is where the American aristocracy was born and whose most important industry is “Education”. Arrival in the afternoon. Lodging
DAY 10
Boston / Newport / New York American breakfast. Morning city tour: Harvard University, Copley Square in front of Trinity Church; the Back Bay neighborhood; Faneuil Hall (shopping mall); Quincy Market and other points of interest. On the way back to New York we will pass through the city of Newport, Rhode Island to visit it panoramically, known worldwide for its Nautical center and summer area of the magnates of the American Industry, we continue our trip to New York via the state of Connecticut. Arrival in the late afternoon. Overnight stay.
DAY 11
New York American breakfast. City tour. On the way to Upper Manhattan along Central Park we will pass by Lincoln Center, the Dakota Building and Strawberry Fields. After a brief stop in Central Park to see the “Imagine” plaque in tribute to John Lennon, we continue to Harlem. After a tour of the area we go down 5th Avenue where we will see the Metropolitan, Frick and Guggenheim Museums. Passing in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Center we will make a brief stop at Madison Square for a view of the Flatiron Building and Empire State Building. We continue to Lower Manhattan, passing through Greenwich Village, Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Wall Street, Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel. From here we will walk with our guide to Battery Park. From this historic park we can admire the Statue of Liberty. Here passengers can choose to stay and visit the sights of lower Manhattan or return on the bus to 34th Street. Overnight
DAY 12
New York American breakfast, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
