DAY 1
Arrival in Chicago. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Lodging.
DAY 2
American breakfast. In the morning we will start the visit of Chicago touring the financial area with a visit to one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Willis Tower (formerly called Sears) and we will have the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of other notable buildings: the First Chicago Bank Plaza, Civic Opera House, City Hall and the imposing building of the State of Illinois. Along Wacker Drive along the Chicago River we will have a perfect view of the Merchandise Mart (once owned by the Kennedy family) and the Marina City Towers. Moving south, we will visit the University of Chicago and along Lake Shore Boulevard we will reach the museum area which also offers the best panoramic view of the city. On the way back to the hotel we will pass by the Grand and Millennium Parks. Free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3
American breakfast. Departure from Chicago to Indianapolis where we will arrive at noon. Visit of the city and some of its most important monuments, such as the Indiana State Capitol. We will make emphasis in the famous automobile circuit, scene of the legendary race of “The 500 Miles of Indianapolis” and known as the BrickYard. Overnight.
DAY 4
American breakfast. Departure to Nashville, the most important city in the American music industry. Arrival at noon for an immediate tour of the city: Vanderbilt University, Bicentennial Park and the Country Music Hall of Fame. In the evening we will leave to visit the Wildhorse Saloon where you will have the opportunity to dance in the style of the American West to the rhythm of Country music. Overnight.
DAY 5
American breakfast. Departure to Memphis, in the State of Tennessee and our first activity upon arrival will be to visit the legendary “Sun Studios”, the cradle of Rock and Roll. We continue with a visit to the moving Civil Rights Museum located in the same building where Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968. Tonight we will go out to enjoy the music of the city and go to the legendary “Beale Street” visiting one of the many bars on the street to listen to some Rhythm and Blues. Overnight.
DAY 6
American breakfast. In the morning we will make one of the most important visits of the trip: we will go to Elvis Presley’s mansion, “Graceland”. At the end of the visit we continue to the Crescent City, New Orleans where we will arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight
DAY 7
New Orleans American breakfast. Early departure to Oak Alley, one of the most famous plantations of the 19th century. After visiting the plantation we continue our journey to the famous Swamps of Louisiana, for lunch (not included) you will have the opportunity to board a Swamp Boat (Optional) to see the Bayou and its wildlife up close! Return to New Orleans in the afternoon. Overnight.
DAY 8
American breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport and end of our services.
